This novel has presented us with a good pair of main characters, that being a begrudging "Adventurer" that used to be a mercenary and a sweet, supportive priestess that slowly shows more mischief as we get to see the pair in action. Alongside these two, we get a host of side characters - some good, some not so much - with our own reactions to them being mirrored by the main pair.I wouldn't come in expecting any amazing action, though there certainly is some. What I found more interesting is being able to discover the world the author presented alongside the main character, all while learning more about the main pair in tandem. I find what we've seen to be both interesting and leaving me wanting to know more, so I look forward to further installments.All in all, I enjoyed this particular chapter and have moderate expectations for the next chapter in this adventure.
